While studying architecture at parsons I was taught that design is boundless, touching all that surrounds us. I have applied this philosophy to my business, designing the company website, developing packaging, creating store displays, advertising material and of course constructing our beautiful one of a kind accessories. Creating these clips remind me of the architectural models we constructed in school. I set out to create a package that would look great as a gift, and be practical at the same time. I love all things translucent, so the material, an extremely thin Plexiglas, was an easy choice. </span><br /><span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);font-family:verdana;" >As for attaching the fabulous bands to their packaging I thought back to a class I took my first year in Parsons. We had an assignment to create a shoe out of paper that would hold our weight. The catch was that we were not allowed to use glue, tape or any other fixative.
